Sony Tablets to get Ice Cream Sandwich soon

Sony’s Tablet S and Tablet P fondleslabs are to get an upgrade to Android 4.0.3, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich. The tied top tablet of 2011 (Tablet S) should get even better, and considering the device has recently has a price drop in the UK, it is looking more and more attractive. No word on when this will happen, but good that it will. Via http://www.sony.jp/CorporateCruise/Press/201203/12-0322/ (in Japanese!)

Sony Tablet S price cut to £349

£50 has been chopped off (http://tidd.ly/a2b69b5c) of the asking price of the Sony Tablet S fondleslab. Sony tablet range up for preorder from £399

Sony not quite getting the idea of competitive pricing having launched their Tablet S device today from the IFA trade show. Already gathering momentum with some favourable ‘hands on’ reviews from the likes of PC World, the wedge shape and clever weight distribution seem to be making a difference.
