What exactly is Amazon up to?
Over at MondayNote.com, Jean-Louis Gassée has a few interesting points on the Amazon Kindle release, Nokia’s babblings about an operating system for dummies non-smart phones and why exactly Google are not jumping over the moon at seeing a potential competitor rise in the form of Amazon. Well worth a read (despite Jean-Louis’ over enthusiasm for Florian Mueller’s Foss Patents blog, as Florian has an overly pro-Apple stance from what I’ve read and I still don’t agree in the overly protectionist assertions of the Motorola / Verizon reference in recent Oracle court rulings).
