Sony’s new Tablet S is now on sale in the UK. The ‘definitely-not-an-iPad’ is available from all good retailers starting price of £399 for a 16GB model and £479 for the 32GB unit, and £499 for a 16GB with 3G connectivity.

With a massive retailer support, this tablet is just about everywhere right now. It comes with Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), a 9.4″ LED Touchscreen powered by a
NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core Processor with HD front & rear cameras. It ticks all our boxes, and look at that design! Looks great.

The only snag is it being priced the SAME AS AN IPAD! I don’t care who you think you are, it will not sell  by the bucket load being priced the same as an iPad. Ever. Didn’t work for Motorola and it didn’t work for Samsung. Wake up Sony, you are playing catchup.
