Google Play Nexus 7s Now Arriving In UK but stock is low
Google’s Nexus 7 is finally landing in the UK for customers who pre-ordered it via the Play store. Which is good because it appears that the 16gb variant is so popular that Google have taken it off sale. There is no estimated time of arrival listed.
HMV are persistently bumping back the ‘release date’, and this now sits at July 26. So much for the £10 off pre-ordered offer. Tesco are also out of stock and have taken the drastic steps of cancelling some customers orders. That said, as of right now they are showing the 16 gigabyte version in stock.
However many units Google initially planned on selling the have clearly ran out of stock. That means that the Nexus 7 is a success, but how much of a success remains to be seen until Google publish the sales figures.
