Samsung Galaxy Tab Stopped from Sale In Australia

Apple getting desperate?

Apple seem to be causing a ruckas as they have forced Samsung to withhold the Galaxy Tab 10.1 from sale in Australia, Phandroid reports. The voluntary delay in sale of the new fondleslab will happen while a court case between Apple and Samsung is being fought. The new Galaxy Tab infringes 10 Apple patents, most notably the “look and feel,” and touchscreen technology of the iPad.

Now is it just me or does this make Apple look worried. It was inevitable that they would face credible competition, and while Android tablet makers were continually shooting themselves in the foot, Apple did not seem to mind. Instead of relying on the merits of its products, Apple seems more concerned with stifling competition. The iPad 2 is the marker leader for good reason and no Android tablet has come close yet. But if Apple gets its way, it might be a while longer before we do.
