Samsung rolling out Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy Note in Germany
The Galaxy Note is finally getting an upgrade to Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich as of right now for European users. The Achilles heel of the Note is finally being addressed and fingers crossed it will be good enough not to flog the AndroidGenus device in favour of a HTC One X.
On top of Google latest and greatest Android version, it will come with a “Premium Suite” of apps geared up for use with the increasingly maligned S-Pen. I say maligned because I see fewer and fewer uses for it, and that is speaking as an end user. The 318MB download will certainly be one for WiFi only users and at present seems confined to unlocked devices originating from Germany.
At present no official announcement is forthcoming from Samsung, but Twitter and XDA are having a field day.
