Samsung feels blue over Galaxy S III colour debacle
Samsung always seem to screw something up. A company of their size, you would think, should not be so error prone but rest assured that their Galaxy S III release today has been marred with reports that the Blue variant will be in short supply for the first few weeks. Reason being, The Register reports, that Samsung sent the wrong CAD image file to the manufacturers making the rear cover. The result? Millions of incorrectly sized covers.
The white variant is still available, but as El Reg puts is “Well done, Sammy. Designed for humans, inspired by nature… built for different dimensions. Oopsy daisy”. Oopsy daisy indeed.
