Samsung flog 100 million Galaxy S phones
Samsung are the biggest of the big boys, and the announcement that they have now sold over 100 million Galaxy S smart phones is proof. The Samsung gloat comes via their Flickr account where they had a bunch of minions pose in spectacularly tacky way (see photo for proof…).
This figure incorporates devices sold since the damn of Galaxy S dominance with the first Galaxy S in 2010. But it is easy to see how the numbers get so big when they are selling 190,000 S III phones a day. A. DAY. The Galaxy S II is the biggest seller to date clocking up a staggering 40 million devices but is augmented by the constant recycling of devices such as the Galaxy S Plus.
