Orange taking registrations on Intel powered Santa Clara
The first Intel powered Android phone in the UK looks set to be released by Orange in the very near future. The UK operator has unveiled a registration page for the Santa Clara phone, a device which may also get a new name by the time it is released.

The smartphone “with Intel Inside®” sports a 1.6GHz Intel® processor, 8MP camera that takes up to 10 photos a second and 16GB user memory. Apparently it is a “stylish Orange exclusive”.
What I want to know is why does Orange only pick pseudo-exotic names? The Barcelona and San Francisco have all been released before but who picks them? And what is wrong with the Orange Skegness? I think it would sell a few.
Via Orange.
