Google’s Easter specials may offend

Google have gone Easter bonkers with a range of Easter Deals for the annual holiday. Funnily enough there is no deal on The Passion of the Christ (mainly because it is unavailable on Google Movies) but there are family favourites such as Matilda, The Muppets Take Manhattan and the Easter themed Hop naturally. Amazon’s baulchy approach is clearly visible in their sales blurb. It is disingenuous to say the Fire HD is the most advanced 7 inch Read more [...]

Lesson to Android: Apple will get you if you copy

When I first took out my shiny Samsung Galaxy S I uttered a little chortle. I put it next to my iPod Touch and thought that someone had been at the photocopier. There is no mistaking that the original Samsung Galaxy S was strikingly similar to the iPhone 3G. It is pretty blatant. So why would I buy something which is a ‘copy cat’? Well, I did not want an iPhone, and I did want the best Android on the market, which the Galaxy S was. But there were many design elements that I found unappealing. TouchWiz Read more [...]
